It’s that time of year, as we watch the trees come out of their winter sleep , and the once desolate branches bear new tender growth, I am reminded that life is like this. This is our baby boy Rowdy’s Senior year and it is coming to the end of his season as a High School Senior, and like the trees a new season is on the horizon for him. With this being our last child at home, I of course want our son to experience all that he can before he sets his feet in the world as a Man, I am probably in his life more then he wants me to be, but knowing how the outside world is I want him to be equipped to conquer and not be defeated! Rowdy has said since he was a little boy that God has given him healing hands and that he wanted to use them to help people, so knowing that Gods promises of prayers of a mother avail much, I have stood in prayer for him, knowing that he CAN do all things thru him who gives him strength. Phil.4:13 The choices that he made in High School certainly haven’t been in his favor, and have made the road he is to travel much harder, but I know that the promises that the Lord has made are solid and unmovable, and the Lord will give us the desires of our heart! he says “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need”.Luke 12:31 I know that God will see him thru and he will carve even a greater man out of him, persecution brings perseverance is what I have always stood on because no matter what I ever decided to do it always seemed to be the harder road or the longer one , but by standing on the promises of Christ I have always made it thru and even better then I thought I would! With this said I know that the Plans that the Lord has for Rowdy have already been written, and now it is our job as his parents to Pray for him and help guide him. I am looking forward to this next season in life to see what the Lord has for us all, I know it will always be full of Love and Joy!!
