“Blessed”

John 15:5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”

I am reminded daily that I must remain in God and his Will , because without him I am separated from the Tree of Life. John 15:2 says “He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce “even more.

I see that today in this world that the meaning of a Relationship has been watered down and the true values that God made have been removed.

On the other hand ( right one) I have seen God bless a client of mine to where the blessings are pressed down shaken and running over! Last week she sat in my hair chair and began to tell me how God had brought this man ( her blessing) into her and her children’s life, and the amazing amount of Love & Joy that has been poured out on them, this is only by the works of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

My Client has been divorced for 6 years, her and her two boys have made a very nice life for them selves, she still has a good relationship with the kids Dad, but the one most important thing is that she has kept Jesus as the center of their lives, his values and what he expects of her as single parent.

My client had every worldy reason to rebel, because her ex-husband had had an affair during their marriage, but she tried to work out the differences with him but they were unrepairable so God pruned her tree so too speak.

Six years later at a basketball tournament that wasn’t even in their hometown this man her blessing, was sitting across the gym from her, it took a few months for her blessing to find out who she was. a year and and a half later finally asked her out with the help of her mom, little did she know that God was at that very moment answering her prayers. My client was in for a surprise of her life, on Martin Luther King Day the schools were closed and so he arranged for the gym to be open (that he first saw her at), he had put a red rose on the chair that he was sitting in that day of the basketball tournament, then she said he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife FOREVER. What a way to be blessed by God!!! This is what we receive when we remain in God and don’t stray away. When we let God prune our branches whether it be friends co-workers whatever it is, we are Guaranteed to grow bigger and better.

John 15:10,11 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11) When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love! NLT

  1. This is very inspiring to me.. because as you know I have had to let some “old friends” go that were my very best friends.. and I just didn’t understand why this was happening to me.. but, you see I have a mom.. a mom who is always there to help me with understanding what is happening in my life.. and to fill me up with positiveness even though all I want to do is cry sometimes.. and see she told me that God “prunes branches” of your tree when he see’s fit.. and now I understand that God has a divine plan.. and he has opened the door for me and my hubby to form new friendships with people we never ever would have thought having a friendship with!!! God is GOOD all the time, isn’t he!?
